Review from. David E. Petzal, Field & Stream Magazine

A little jewel of a book… the set will be a landmark in the literature of arms collection and history. Very few museums contain anything that can match them, much less surpass them.

This five volume miniature books set features highly decorated arms from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Measuring 4 ¾- x 6-inches, and averaging 75 pages per volume, each miniature book features dramatic fold-outs, and illustrations on the reverse of the dust jackets. These are the first miniature books on firearms masterpieces ever published on the history of firearms, including an Introductory (Volume 1), with Antique European (Vol. 2), Colt (Vol. 3), Winchester (Vol. 4) and Modern Firearms (Vol. 5).

In these hardcover volumes with gatefolds, the authors celebrate the art, craftsmanship, romance and performance of fine firearms, throughout the ages. Each set of text is illuminated with more than 70 crisp color photographs. The firearms are of the highest museum quality. Each limited edition set is boxed in a crystal acrylic case.

Review from. Jim Carmichel, Outdoor Life Magazine

The five-volume set highlights selected guns from Robert M. Lee’s incredible collection, and the quality of printing and production is truly first-class.
